Servant Leaders

For the last twelve years, Aaron and Valissa Calhoun are best friends and they have been following Jesus in marriage for nine years. Natives of Alabama, they both have a heart to reach people with the whole Gospel, make healthy disciples of Jesus, and equip God’s people to live by faith through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Aaron is a redeemed son in Christ Jesus who desires to grow, learn, and trust more in God. He is co-vocational and currently serves as founding and lead pastor of Adventure Church and works as a SDR Manager at Subsplash.  He has faithfully served as one of the NextGen Regional pastors of the Foursquare Atlantic District, a member of the District Council of the Foursquare Atlantic District, and the National Foursquare Cabinet as a younger representative. Currently, he works as an online Adjunct Professor at Life Pacific University and he serves on the Fusion U.S.A. board as a Local Practitioner that strengthens local churches with the tools and confidence to love, reach and disciple college students.  With his Bachelor’s in Marketing Management from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and as a pastor-theologian with his Masters in Theological Studies from Life Pacific University, his life’s mission is to passionately equip, multiply, and mobilize healthy, Spirit-led, peace-making disciples of Jesus Christ.

Valissa is a redeemed daughter in Christ Jesus who loves to be a lifelong learner and laugh together with loved ones. Valissa was raised in Demopolis, Alabama and she has a passion for worshiping God through song, building healthy accountable community, and seeing families leave Gospel legacies for their children and grandchildren. She is co-vocational and currently serves as co-lead pastor of Adventure Church by leading worship and intercession, and she works as a Software Test Engineer with her Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering Technology from Alabama A&M University. As an entrepreneur, Valissa shares the Gospel with others through her business of selling Gospel jewelry known as Forever Truth Florida, and with the worship songs she has written.

Apostolic Elders

The role of an Apostolic Elder is to provide prayerful + prophetic intercessory covering, pastoral care, and apostolic oversight for the Founding & Lead Pastor of Adventure Church.

Keith Jenkins serves alongside his wife Pastor Coco Jenkins as the Lead Pastors of East Hills Church Family in Gresham, Oregon since 2019, and he serves on the national board of The Foursquare Church. They serve Pastors Aaron and Valissa as a spiritual father and spiritual mother in the Gospel.

For continual relationship development, friendship building, and healthy accountability, Pastor Keith serves as an Apostolic Elder of Adventure Church.

Dale Jenkins currently serves as the Lead Pastor of New Hope Worship Center in Concord, North Carolina and he serves on the board of Life Pacific University. He and his wife, Pastor Carrie Jenkins, have been faithfully pastoring New Hope for nearly 30 years and they both have their Masters in Strategic Leadership from Life Pacific University. They served Pastors Aaron and Valissa as church planting coaches via Foursquare Multiply's church planting discipleship cohort during 2020-2021.

John Tanner serves as the Lead Pastor of Cove Church in Huntsville, Alabama. He and his wife Kathy Tanner have been serving Cove Church for over 25 years in the Hampton Cove area. Pastor John has been Pastor Aaron's friend since 2020, and their friendship has grown into a deep Gospel friendship and Gospel partnership entailing Gospel-centered work on racial reconciliation in the Body of Christ, teaching and preaching God's Word in each others' ministry context, intercessory prayer walks for Gospel awakening and relational and Gospel unity in MidCity in Huntsville, AL during 2020-2021, and the work of renewal and spiritual awakening for the Kingdom of God.

Adler Corvil was born to two Haitian immigrants in East Naples, FL. Having been raised in a church plant & served in various capacities, it was evident that he had a passion to be in the house of God. After experiencing 2 near death accidents in which he was miraculously saved between the ages 6-10, it was clear that God had a unique plan for Adler’s life. Ignoring the signs & leadings from the Lord, Adler fell into deep rebellion which involved promiscuity, drugs, & gang activity. This consequently followed him throughout High School & College. In 2010, after a string of surreal encounters with the Lord, and a best friend’s death to gun violence, God finally had Adler’s attention. While sitting in his apartment listening to a conference call Bible Study his life was radically changed after hearing the liberating Gospel of Jesus Christ. This 180 encounter led to the very purpose Adler Corvil was created for. His dynamic, revelatory & prophetic teachings of the word of God, testimony & message of awakening has allowed him to minister on many platforms. From High-maximum Prisons in Florida to the Red Light districts of Ethiopia and many stops in between, Adler preaches wherever the Lord calls him. Adler currently holds a degree in Theology from Covenant Bible College & Seminary. He & his beautiful wife Marlene of 10 years are currently raising their 3 boys; Ashur, Arrow & Arden.

Currently, Adler serves as Student Pastor at Hope City Florida in Bonita Springs, Florida.

Pastor Aaron partnered and served alongside Pastor Adler  during hisyears of serving at FAMU Young Life during 2021-2022. They developed a deep friendship and frequent accountability in Christ while serving and discipling college students during that time.

Trey Abney serves as the Senior Pastor of EQUIP Church. Trey is energized through life-coaching, teaching leadership, encouraging hurting pastors, and enabling church teams to regain ministry vision. He utilizes the Emotionally Healthy Leadership material to promote both personal and spiritual health. In addition, Trey is an adjunct professor at Life Pacific University.

Trey is married to Gretchen Abney and they have three young-adult children, Christian, Colin, and Caroline. Trey has served in ministry for over 25 years as a Church Planter, Inner-City Missionary, District Council member, District Elder and Regional leader in both the Gulf Atlantic and the Southeast District of the Foursquare Church. His passion is for people to continually grow in their revelation of God’s grace, while understanding their God-given design and purpose.

Trey graduated from Lee University with a B.A. in Bible and Theology and from Pentecostal Theological Seminary with a M.Div. His hobbies include fishing, cycling, watching Duke Basketball and University of Georgia Football.

Trey is one of Foursquare Multiply's coaches and trimester church planting instructors, and Pastor Aaron, Pastor Valissa, Pastor Caleb, and Pastor Mary-Kate have all experienced personal coaching and prophetic shepherding in a variety of leadership cohorts led by Pastor Trey.
